Why did you choose to create a scholarship at SUNY Geneseo?
To give back to the community and college that has given us a great foundation and a thriving business.

What would you want the recipients of this scholarship to know about the person for whom it is named?
It is named after Mark and I personally because our main business involves the college students from SUNY Geneseo We have gained great relationships with many of them throughout the years and wanted to give back to those students. Working with college students on a daily basis made us realize that the local students who wanted to attend Geneseo should have an opportunity to and know that there are local business owners who care about them and their education.

Tell us about your Geneseo memory, favorite tradition, or what Geneseo has meant to you.
To Mark and I it has always been great to meet the college students and keep in touch with them over the years. Also, Mark grew up in Geneseo and he met so many great people that come back to town and to this day they still keep in touch.

What do you hope your recipients gain through this scholarship?
The ability to not worry as much about the financial burden of college and focus on their studies and just have fun creating memories.
