Dr. John Hoey Memorial Annual Scholarship

The Dr. John Hoey Memorial Annual Scholarship was established by Joseph L. Carr ’82 in honor of Dr. Hoey.
CRITERIA: This scholarship is to be awarded to a) incoming student or currently enrolled student; b) in good academic standing; c) demonstrated financial need; and d) strong preference is to be given to students engaged in activiities that mirror those embraced by Dr. Hoey during his life at Geneseo, and to students with unusual circumstances, such as students seeking a college education who are beyond the traditional 18-22 age, a young parent seeking an education, or a non-traditional student experiencing a particular adverse situation or hardship in life.
