Flanders Group Insurance Career Scholarship Endowment

The Flanders Group Insurance Career Scholarship Endowment provides a scholarship and was established by Chris McVicker 1972 and The Flanders Group.
CRITERIA: This scholarship is awarded to a student who a) is a junior, b) in the School of Business, c) has at least 60 earned academic credits, d) has a cumulative grade-point average of 2.75 or better, e) is willing to complete a 3-credit internship at an insurance company, and f) demonstrates interest in pursuing a career in insurance.
PROCESS: The internship will be overseen administratively by the School of Business Internship Director. The student will fulfill all the academic requirements of a Geneseo School of Business internship. Upon successful completion of the internship, the student will receive the $1,200 scholarship, which will be awarded for the senior year.
