Hans Gottschalk Memorial Scholarship Endowment

The Hans Gottschalk Memorial Scholarship Endowment provides a scholarship and was established by family and friends of Dr. Hans Gottschalk, Distinguished Service Professor of English Emeritus.
CRITERIA: This scholarship is awarded to a student who a) is a sophomore, b) is an English major, c) is dedicated, d) has exceptional integrity, e) has intellectual curiosity, f) is distinguished by willingness to give best effort at all times, g) demonstrates solid academic achievement, and h) has the promise of continuing effort. The award should not necessarily be made to a student with the highest grades but to one who makes the most of his/her abilities.
PROCESS: The scholarship is to be used in the junior year and is renewable for the senior year.
