Gary Drago 1974 Memorial Scholarship Endowment

The Gary Drago 1974 Memorial Scholarship Endowment annually provides a $2,000 scholarship and was initiated and supported by Timothy (brother of Gary) and Sandy Drago.
CRITERIA: This scholarship is awarded to a) a graduating senior from York Central School, b) who is an entering freshman to SUNY Geneseo, and c) who demonstrates economic need. In a given year, if no student can be identified who meets these criteria, the scholarship will be awarded to a) deserving SUNY Geneseo student, b) majoring in physics, and c) with preference for a student from Livingston County who demonstrates economic need.
PROCESS: The York Central School Principal and Guidance Counselor recommend the recipient to the SUNY Geneseo Office of Enrollment Management. If no student is identified from York Central School, then the recipient will be selected by the SUNY Geneseo Department of Physics.
SELECTED BY: Enrollment Management with recommendations from the York Central School Principal and Guidance Counselor. If no recipient from York Central School, then the SUNY Geneseo Dept. of Physics will make the recommendation to SUNY Geneseo Enrollment Management.
