James A. and Barbara J. Walker Music Scholarship Endowment

The James A. and Barbara J. Walker Music Annual Scholarship Fund provides at least a $2,500 scholarship and was established by spouses James A. and Barbara J. Walker. James A. Walker is a Distinguished Service Professor of Music Emeritus.
CRITERIA: This scholarship is awarded to a student who a) is incoming, b) intends to major in music performance with a concentration in a string, woodwind, brass, or percussion instrument and c) intends to participate on a semesterly basis in the Geneseo Symphony Orchestra.
PROCESS: This scholarship is renewable for a period of up to four years providing the student remains in good standing at the College. Additional scholarships may be awarded at the minimum level dependent upon annual available earnings.
