President's Access to Excellence Scholarship Endowment

The President’s Access to Excellence Scholarship Fund provides scholarships and was initiated by President Denise A. Battles, 13th president of SUNY Geneseo, and endowed by Robert Wayland-Smith, chair of the College Council.
CRITERIA: This scholarship is awarded to a student who a) is incoming, b) has high capacity for success, c) but for circumstances beyond their control did not have access to resources that would have more fully supported and developed their natural talents, d) may have attended under-resourced schools, e) may have lived in under-resourced geographic areas, and e) may have personal circumstances limiting their access to a larger sphere of learning experiences.
