Emerging Leaders Scholarship Endowment

The Emerging Leaders Scholarship is to provide a $1,000 scholarship to students who have demonstrated strong leadership and exhibit a genuine interest in leadership.
CRITERIA: The scholarship is awarded to a student who: a) is incoming or currently enrolled at SUNY Geneseo; b) is in good academic standing, according to the College’s definition of good standing; c) has demonstrated strong leadership in academic, co-curricular, and/or community actives; d) exhibits a strong interest in developing his/her leadership skills and/or the leadership skills of others; and e) while not a requirement, preference will be given to female students.
PROCESS: One or more scholarship(s) may be awarded annually. The award may be renewable for up to four years dependent on the student’s academic standing. The award shall cover non-tuition educational expenses.
