Violet Pollard and Elsie Chappell Memorial Scholarship Endowment in Elementary Education

The Violet Pollard and Elsie Chappell Memorial Scholarship Endowment in Elementary Education is to provide at least a $1,000 Scholarship(s) and was established by Violet’s son and Elsie’s son-in-law, Kenneth E. Pollard.
CRITERIA: The scholarship is awarded to a student(s) who is: a) incoming and/or currently enrolled at SUNY Geneseo; b) elementary education major; c) in good academic standing; d) preference to be given to students from the rural areas of Central New York region; and e) has demonstrated financial need. Applied to non-tuition educational expenses and one or more scholarships of equivalent value may be awarded annually.
