Rev. James L. Swarts 1971, M.A. 1976 History Graduate Student Scholarship Endowment

The Rev. James L. Swarts ’71, M.A. ’76 History Graduate Student Scholarship Endowment provides at least a $1,000 scholarship and in recognition of contributions by Re. James L. Swarts ’71, M.A., ’76.
CRITERIA: The scholarship is awarded to a student who is; a) incoming and/or currently enrolled at SUNY Geneseo; b) in the M.A. History program, with a preference for a student who is concentrating in United States History and indicates a desire to pursue a teaching career; c) has demonstrated financial need. If the M.A. in History program is ever terminated, the scholarship will be redesignated to support an advanced-level undergraduate History major who demonstrates financial need. Preference will be given to a student who is concentrating in United States History and indicates a desire to pursue a teaching career.
