The Erika Rottenberg '84 Endless Possibilities Endowment
The Erika Rottenberg ’84 Endless Possibilities Endowment fund provides a $5,000 scholarship to support a student enrolling in a Study Abroad Program.
CRITERIA: The scholarship will be awarded to an a) Education Major or student who has demonstrated their intent to attend law school in a material way, b) with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above (measured on a 4.0 scale) who c) does not qualify for and is not in receipt of financial aid, including federal or state student aid, but has demonstrable financial need (would not be able to participate in the study abroad experience but for the scholarship), d) who is a US citizen resident in the US, with preference to be awarded to an out of state student, pending the applicant pool is sufficient.
PROCESS: The scholarship to be used for a study abroad program for a full academic semester or summer. If funds are sufficient, multiple awards may be selected in any given year.
SELECTED BY: a committee composed of the Executive Director of the Office of the Center for Global Engagement, and the Deans of Education and the dean of the college where the pre-law program resides (currently, College of Arts and Sciences).
