Daniel J. and Catherine L. Larkin Annual Scholarship

The purpose of the Daniel and Catherine Larkin Endowed Scholarship fund is to provide financial assistance to SUNY Geneseo students who meet the following criteria (1) incoming or currently enrolled at SUNY Geneseo (2) in the Department of Communication (3) in good academic standing, as per the College’s definition of “good standing” at the time of renewal (4) has demonstrated financial need (5) with preference for a first-generation college student (6) with preference for a student from New York City/Long Island area.
PROCESS: One or more scholarships of equivalent value may be awarded annually. Scholarships may be renewable dependent on the fund’s annual available earnings. Each scholarship may be at least $1,000 but may be more dependent upon available funds. Additional scholarships may be awarded at the minimum level dependent upon available funds. The award shall be applied to non-tuition educational expenses.
