Welcome to SUNY Geneseo’s Scholarship Opportunities Homepage.

Below you will find a listing of Geneseo scholarships available to CURRENT students for the next academic year with brief information about the scholarship qualifications. To be considered for any of these scholarships, students must click Sign In at the top right corner of this page. This will direct you to the login screen of the campus scholarship portal where you can log in using your Geneseo login. You will then have the opportunity to complete a general application. Your general application will then be submitted to each scholarship for which you qualify. (You do not need to apply for a specific scholarship.)

It is recommended that you complete next year’s Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by February 1st. Many scholarships are awarded based on financial eligibility (and other academic criteria).

New Students: New students do NOT need to complete a scholarship application. Admitted students will automatically be considered for all need and merit based scholarships as part of the admission process.

Award: The amount stated is for general information purposes and not a guarantee of what a student may receive if awarded. Actual award amounts can vary based on recipient eligibility, available funds, and other factors.

The 2023-24 application is now closed. The 2024-25 application will open on February 1, 2024.
